Honoring Hope Chest History 

HCSF’s Fall 2023 fundraiser benefits graduating New Jersey minority high school students seeking to further their post-secondary education.

You’re Invited!

We invite you to join The Hope Chest Scholarship Foundation for an in-person fall fundraising campaign beginning on October 28th, 2023, and continuing through December 2023. Our special event, Honoring Golden Harvest. This will be an evening to remember, we are in person again. How wonderful to greet sponsors, donors and friends. Please join us for this celebration as we honor our 2022/2023 awardees.

 

Your generosity and support have allowed us to enter a new decade of helping bridge the financial gap that prevents many students from pursuing higher education. Student debt is one of the greatest challenges of this generation; let’s work for change…let’s invest in the future, which involves supporting our New Jersey youth!

October 28th, 2023 marks the start of our event and serves as yet another opportunity for you to join our movement and become a proud member of The Hope Chest Circle of Support. Despite the challenges of the pandemic in 2020-2022, we have been able to achieve the following with your support:

• Increase the size of student awards
• Maintain a robust Leadership, Training and Development Program LTD
• Increase diversity in minority student participation
• Increase corporate sponsorship and employee participation
• Sustain individual donor support

We again thank you and look forward to what we can do together in 2023 – 2024 for deserving New Jersey students who become our Hope Chest Scholars! More details for the campaign starting on October 28th, 2023, will soon follow.

 

HCSF is very proud to have raised over 2.3 million dollars and awarded scholarships to over 650 students, spanning more than 15 counties, but our work is not done! At present, the cost of college education and student debt continues to rise. The urgency in our communities to raise public awareness on this issue remains. The time for action is now to increase scholarship availability.

Help us give back and plant seeds in the form of financial support. The seeds planted will bear the fruits of increasing attendance rates, increasing graduation percentages, and the ultimate result – a visible, positive change in our society, and in young people’s quality of life. Invest in their future; they deserve it!
