Our impact in the State of New Jersey began in 1988 as we organized to form a community outreach organization. We then decided to formally organize and develop a federally sanctioned non-profit entity to provide an even greater impact. We are proud to say that 2023 marks The Hope Chest Scholarship Foundation’s 23rd year as a formally organized charitable organization and 501(c)(3) and 35 years of service as a community service organization overall.
We have always been committed to meeting the challenges presented in financing a college education.
HCSF continues to recognize the urgency to decrease and potentially eliminate the need for students to obtain student loans as these mounting debts facilitate a pernicious profit motive in higher education, leaving unassuming students with a tremendous financial burden.
Our goal is to continue to positively impact our communities by raising the bar of financial support we provide and accelerating the number and value of scholarships granted to our scholars.
